Classical Hatha Yoga is more than physical postures. At Shashi Yoga, you learn how the body moves, how the breath works with movement, and how attention and awareness shape your practice. The focus is on understanding, not simply performing poses. You can begin if you are new to yoga, returning after a break, practicing another style, or simply curious to learn more. The practice can be adapted to different ages, bodies, and abilities.
Meditation gives us a chance to slow down, sit quietly, breathe, and become more aware. It is not about stopping every thought or making the mind completely empty. When the mind wanders, we simply notice and gently bring our attention back. With regular practice, we begin to understand our thoughts, breath, feelings, and actions more clearly. Shashi Yoga offers group meditation sessions; please check the current schedule for the latest time and contribution details.
Every person is different, and every practice is different. Private sessions give you more time with the teacher and allow the practice to be shaped around your individual needs, questions, and experience. Whether you are new to yoga, returning after a break, have specific questions, or simply want more personal guidance, private sessions offer an opportunity to learn at your own pace. The goal is simple: to help you better understand your practice and become more confident in it.
Yoga can be practiced at every stage of life. As the body changes, our practice can change with it. Senior Sessions provide a comfortable way to explore movement, breathing, balance, strength, mobility, and awareness. There is no need to compare yourself with anyone else. The focus is on your own body and what feels appropriate for you. You can join whether you have practiced yoga before or are completely new. Please check the current schedule for the latest session time.
Teacher Training is for students who want to understand yoga more deeply and learn how to share the practice with others. The program explores Classical Hatha Yoga, postures, breathing, meditation, philosophy, anatomy, and teaching. It is a journey of learning, practice, and personal growth.
