Teacher's Training Program
Thank
you for your interest in our teacher's training program. We
offer the most flexible and comprehensive training program in San
Diego. We have been highly successful due to our incredibly flexible
program. We allow our teachers to customize their schedule according to
their availability. We offer classes seven days a week morning and
evening allowing teachers to easily adjust their training schedule with
prior responsibilities.
Teaching
yoga is becoming one of the most attractive jobs in the US due to
yoga's increasing popularity. Yoga and Meditation Center offers a
complete training course that is recognized and certified by Yoga
Alliance. Students completing certification become eligible for listing
on Yoga Alliance 200 hour registry level.
We
specialize in teaching teachers how to teach
yoga, not
just the
poses. Not only do our teachers complete their schooling with
an
abundance of knowledge but they emerge as confident and joyous
individuals that can guide students easily through yoga classes.
Our
teacher's will begin as students themselves and undergo a positive
transformation as they see the benefits of yoga take affect in their
own lives. Just as a flower takes time to bloom our teachers go through
a step by step growing process that allows them to discover their own
creative gifts.
Shashi Pottathil teaches with confidence and ease. He is a
wealth of knowledge and is ready to share this vast knowledge of yoga
to all that are eager to learn. He has thirty-five years experience
teaching classical hatha yoga. Teachers finish their training with an
incredibly strong foundation.
We teach our teacher's the
building blocks of yoga, which include a positive attitude, discipline,
asanas, breathing techniques, focusing power, meditation, and
relaxation. We send our teacher's out into the world
with
all the tools to becoming a successful yoga instructor. We take so much
joy in seeing our students succeed first as happy individuals and
second as successful teachers.
