Welcome to the Yoga and Meditation Center - Shashi Yoga. Here in order to teach you how to fix your body, our focus is to bring you the most updated knowledge of a science which originated thousands of years ago.

Shashi Pottathil, founder and owner of the Yoga and Meditation Center has been teaching Classical Hatha Yoga for over thirty-five years and is a fountain of knowledge on the subject. Through his simple explanations of science and spirituality, in each class you will learn the benefits of yoga both mentally and physically.

The Yoga and Meditation Center is a registered and certified yoga school recognized by Yoga Alliance since 1999. We offer both a diverse and unique program with over forty-five teachers currently in training. Our program is flexible, designed to fit your needs. We offer over thirty classes, six days a week, morning and evening. This is an ongoing program so teachers may join at anytime. Our training will provide teachers a strong foundation to flourish in all aspects of yoga teaching. We offer 200-RYT and 500-RYT certifications both with flexible payment plans.

Please call to schedule a time to come in and see if our program is right for you!

The Yoga and Meditation Center offers two weekly workshops on Saturdays and Sundays. The classes are one hour each designed to go more in-depth on topics learned in class. Every Saturday the workshop changes however on Sundays there is always a group Meditation Class. Both classes are on a donation-basis so please be conscious to always RSVP as space is limited.

Yoga can be used as a tool to create balance in your life, and promote a deep sense of inner peace. Each of our instructors is trained to make yoga work for your specific body. We believe that anyone can (and should) do yoga - regardless of age, size, gender, or physical limitation. Yoga is experiential, and offers a unique journey for each individual.

“With yoga, not only your body should become flexible. Your mind and emotions, and above all your consciousness should become flexible.”
